Below is a general size to carat conversion. We say 'general' because
the carat weight is a function of the 'volume' of the finished gem. This
volume is dependant on the design used for the Pet Gem. The table
is meant as a general guideline but should not be considered a guarentee. The table is based on a 'round' stone, odd shaped such as pears and marquise will be slightly different. Most finished gems finish with a higher weight than shown below.
